Tristan Kwon
Tristan completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Scotland, following his Bachelor of Medical Science degree at the University of Western Ontario. Tristan has worked for years treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and motor vehicle accident cases.
He was drawn to physiotherapy through his own experience recovering from a shoulder injury during his breakdancing days, where he saw firsthand how the right guidance and education could turn uncertainty and frustration into confidence and empowerment.
Outside of the clinic, Tristan enjoys staying active through strength training, volleyball, and golf, as well as exploring music and DJing.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why
While I enjoy treating all kinds of cases, I have a particular interest in treating shoulder, knee, and lower back injuries across a range of patients from the weekend warriors to the high-performing athletes.
I also enjoy working with postural or lifestyle-related conditions, helping patients move better and feel more comfortable in their day-to-day lives.
A big part of my approach is helping patients understand the “why” behind their symptoms and guiding them through a clear, structured path toward recovery.
What should I expect in your session?
My approach is centered around clear communication, collaboration, and progressive rehabilitation. During your assessment, we’ll take the time to understand your goals, your condition, and the factors contributing to your symptoms.
From there, we will develop a personalized plan together focused on improving your movement, strength, and overall capacity over time. My sessions typically include a combination of education, tailored home exercises, and targeted hands-on treatment, with an emphasis on building independence and long-term confidence.
Depending on your needs, my treatment may also include modalities such as shockwave therapy, laser, ultrasound, cupping, or taping.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I take pride in empowering patients to return to the activities that matter to them, whether that’s sports, work, or simply moving through daily life with greater ease and confidence.
My goal is not to just reduce pain, but to help patients build long-term resilience while feeling supported, understood, and actively involved in their care.
I’m also committed to continually refining my clinical skills and staying up to date with evidence-informed approaches so I can continue to provide effective, meaningful care.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
Patients can expect a thoughtful, goal-oriented approach that balances clinical reasoning with practical, real-world application. I aim to make rehabilitation straightforward, achievable, and tailored to each individual.
If you’re looking for a physiotherapist who will take the time to understand your goals, provide clear guidance, and support you throughout your recovery, I would be happy to work together with you.
